did Alyssa hold back or something? that was nowhere near assassin level

 

season continues to be fun and filled with the sort of drama we missed in S12. i love juju but it's very clearly shea's competition to lose.

then again, so was S9 and then...

 

really did not agree with a lot of the judges calls this week. though I’ve never watched Golden Girls so I didn’t pick up on the “flaws” in the Golden Gals Palace.

 

honestly just didn't like this episode all around. the challenge was weak from all three groups (juju's natural charm made her part work at least so i do agree with her win, especially with the added emotional effect of being her FIRST), a lot of the runways fell flat for me - felt like most either fell into three lackluster distinct looks (blair or juju) or a great look that kind of failed with the theme (india). shea in the bottom though, the fuck was that. didn't love the hair but the look ruled even if she didn't shine in the challenge.

maybe my least favorite juju lip sync too, she clearly did not know most of the words outside of the chorus.

 

I really liked Blair's looks! thought the reveal of the 70s jumpsuit from the 60s mod dress was really cool

 

also I can’t believe Michelle said that team golden gals had no jokes in their presentation when I counted zero funny moments in the glamorous gold room or whatever it was called. just whack critiques all over. Shea being in the bottom was the most egregious.

 

I honestly thought the jungle room sucked lol

 

challenge wise, the last two episodes have sucked.

 

India needs to go

this season is basically just juju and shea for me

 

can’t wait for the Shea Juju Cracker top 3 we deserve

A few are complete standouts like Mik and Symone. Kandy is finally on and I can’t wait for the drama she will bring.

anyone catch the first episode of UK Drag Race tonight? my wife was furious with who got eliminated but I agreed with the judges.

as for season 13 - I don't like all the queens being separated but I get why. I wonder if we'll get our first elimination this week.

 

I'm in a fantasy drag race league for S13. Probably won't follow UK but we'll see!

 

no way there's an elimination until the two groups combined. i like that there's been multiple episodes before an elimination so that you can more of a feel for the girls.

as for UK, the first season was raw and nostalgic. i'm just going to wait until I can binge it.

I like the Thai Drag Race.

I'm sick of all these white folks. UK was good because it was short and they had some HUGE personalities. I'm not trying to watch Canada/UK2/Australia.
