Sometimes I cant tell if Marco Arment hates Apple. I absolutely love Overcast, but I feel like he’s always so negative about 90% of what Apple does lol.

 

And, usually, running on Macs.

 

Oh of course they use Macs, Windows is a shitshow.

 

Yeah ... that's my point. Haha. The platform was just fine, if not flourishing going to Intel.

I think ARM ... or Apple Silicon ... will be a fantastic update to the hardware.

well, that presser was fantastic. one of the best Apple's done in a long time. iOS 14 is super exciting and can't come soon enough. Hopefully all of my Macs will work with Big Sur.

 

Don’t know why I never thought about iOS apps working on a computer before... really excited for that.

My new MacBook runs 32 GB of RAM which means maybe I can actually check out the beta this year

 

I think for me a big part of it is how many of the Twitter/Tech follows I haver never seem happy about anything. It's like, why are you always upset and complaining? Especially about things you haven't even used yet. It's the constant negativity and snark that gets old.

this is honestly the worst stuff I see on twitter during these presentations

some people are just miserable fucks who want to complain about everything

 

Though I know this is Just How Apple Do Things, it's a bit odd how they announce this fundamental hardware change and not only don't have any hardware available to pre-order, but also the Intel stuff is probably very fully in stock.

My goldilocks mid-2015 MacBook Pro is a even more golden now I guess.

 

damn, OS X launched in March 2001. Well it's been a good run I guess. Neat to see it finally move over to 11.
