Ahhhh Dude Ranch. I whooped some dude 1 on 1 in basketball with the album blasting out of my boombox in the garage.

My mom changed my life the summer going into 5th grade when she bought this album for me on a whim because she thought Dammit was a "cute" song. This album became the reason I learned to play guitar (I gotta give Bad Religion's The Gray Race a shout out for that too).

We just watched the movie Can't Hardly Wait and this song came on when the house party was getting busted. Love that movie.

Finished this build today. Modeled it after Mark’s studio guitar. I put in a pickup I prefer, a different volume knob, and a Rocko sticker bc I love Rocko’s Modern Life.

 

Looks gorgeous. And Rocko rules!

 

^ That's awesome, somehow never seen it before. Cool that Tom drew the Pennywise logo on his shirt and Mark wrote "UL" on his arm to try to promote two bands that helped them up to that point.

 

Awww Scott dropping a stick in the second verse then Tom (intentionally?) spitting on himself before the outro.

 

So is the new Quarantine song coming out tomorrow or does it have an actual release date?

 

I hope it’s as good as that ‘Not Every Dog Goes To Heaven’ song.

 

as far as I know, there hasn't been any talk of an actual release date yet. all we know is that the song exists, at this point. maybe there's more info out there, but if there is, I haven't seen anything.

 

Went on a drive today and blasted Nine (sans “Happy Days”) and I still can’t get over how much I enjoy this thing.

California? Neighborhoods? Those exist??? Haha

 

Nine and Wake Up, Sunshine are two albums I love listening to on the same day.

 

I still haven’t listened to the ATL album. But then again, I’ve never listened to a full album by them so yeah, just not interested in it... BUT if it’s similar to Nine, maybe I’ll give it a shot.

 

Its worth a listen. I’ve liked their first full length but didn’t care for much after that. Then WUS came out and it’s the best thing they’ve ever put out. “Trouble Is” could be a blink song.

I think it’s better than Nine and I’m not a big ATL fan.

 

Nine has had way more lasting power for me personally. But I could see how people would feel the opposite.

I think so. Mark was just mentioning it the other day on Instagram I believe.

 

I have a weird relationship with Nine. I really like it but don’t listen to it nearly as much as I listened to their other blink albums when they came out but I don’t know why.

 

Halfway into the new ATL album. Doesn’t really remind me of Nine. “Trouble Is” does sound like it’d fit on there though. Cool there’s 2 Max Martin songs on here. That’s pretty cool. But yeah, Nine is so much better than this. Or maybe I just like Blink way more than ATL. Never was into this band.

"Sleeping In" quotes "Hold It Against Me" by Britney Spears and "Clumsy" has an interpolation of "It's Gonna Be Me" by NSYNC.
