Some of the talk in here, about AJ in particular, is... shitty. I don't see what someones weight has to do with any of you, or if they like to party or not.


This song sounds great and I'm super pumped for this. Shame I'm gonna have to wait a while to see them again. Can't imagine they'll be playing in the UK anytime soon, so unless they are playing Riot fest I might have to wait a long time to hear this new music live.

 

Gonna miss Ben, he was excellent. I still can’t get over how good he was on Mother Nature.

 

I felt bad even saying it, really. I really don’t even mean it as an insult. I don’t give a shit if someone likes to party. It’s not my scene, but it’s cool if it’s yours. I shouldn’t have suggested I wouldn’t get along with him, because I don’t know.

Ultimately, I was just trying to communicate that there’s no other band I listen to where there seems to be such a disconnect between the writer’s public persona and their writing style. It’s on me for not taking into consideration the multi-faceted aspects of people’s personalities.

In any case, Mother Nature is one of the most relatable records I’ve heard in years and I love it dearly.

 

It is insane they got Aaron to fill in, even on tour. So cool

 

I think it’s a case of people concerned with his health, not if he’s looking attractive. Fans often care about the longevity of a bands and it’s members.

 

Looking at my snap chat memories from a year ago last night I saw them in MA. It was SUCH a fun show ... AJ came into the crowd for Infinite and once it kicks in everyone went insane. Absolutely missing shows.

 

New clip sounds good. Looking forward to new music so soon. Mother Nature is their second best album. Its right behind RFTS for me. The new clip sounds similar to MN and I'm ready for it.

I'll also add that I'm all for musicians, bands, artists, and entrepreneurs going the DIY route. So much respect. There's practically nothing more rewarding. It can be difficult, but always worth it when you get to call the shots and don't need to report on anyone else's timeline but your own. There's honestly no better way to learn and figure yourself out. So much growth can happen and always worth a risk.

 

Do you guys think they will eventually get a permanent new full member of the band drummer? Or keep it as a duo...Aaron sounds amazing, but sounds like he offers his services as a hired gun....

 

Man this sounds dope! TDS are officially top 5 for me now. So stoked to hear what they do next.

 

It still sounds like a justification to judge someone's body. That ain't your business.

We all care for this band, clearly.

New song sounds promising, and i love the thought of them expanding their stylistic range further. The rest of the talk here can get in the bin. I met AJ late last year, he was as nice as could be. His weight shouldn't matter but even so it's not like he's huge? If he couldn't fit through a doorway then sure that's a health concern but come on. As for the drug use that's his choice as well and if it doesn't affect his ability to parent, live, work etc then he's not hurting anyone. I mean he's certainly being productive. And to say the music is so different to his persona, didn't Mother Nature literally open with him snorting a line off a mirror??
Edit: then next line he is talking about driving and smoking reefer.

 

I've already listened to the FTA teaser like 10 times. Wish the wait wasn't another 3 weeks!
