For all its brutality and despair, I really enjoy the tender moments. Just did the museum sequence.

 

I am not going to be able to play this with my gf next to me mocking video game design

Just got to the first “open” area in Seattle. Explored the bank, and got a shotgun. Loving how Lost Legacy this feels.

 

“There’s no way a house would crumble that much in the timeframe”

She doesn’t play video games so any gamification she doesn’t get

 

does she get mad in action movies when they don’t show the person reloading too?

 

Lost Legacy was clearly a prototype for working out a lot of this gameplay, it’s really cool.

 

I nominate this for best rope/cable physics of 2020

 

oh yes

and as she's a flight attendant anything wrong with planes gets pointed out too. LET ME ENJOY THINGS

 

The subway tunnel with the red lighting is like the basement section from the first one on steroids. Incredible stuff.

 

Fuckin shamblers gonna give me nightmares

 

The encounters in day 2 with the dogs really complicate things and have forced me to rethink my whole approach

 

Just played up to Joel’s death, and btw I haven’t been playing for long which makes it even worse. I don’t even feel like playing the game anymore tbh.

 

My god this Jesse car sequence is incredible

 

Started this evening, just got to the part where Joel and Tommy get captured and holy shit, the last ~hour or so has been wild

the most terrifying infected imo. My heart is racing right now

 

I played up to Seattle and got the Sightseer trophy for completing the map. My fucking heart. This game has been so devastating yet so beautiful already.

 

The most unrealistic thing about this game is the MULTIPLE PS Vitas I’ve seen characters playing

 

Just shot someone with a shotgun for the first time. Holy shit lol.

 

Honestly the stalkers are kinda funny the way they poke their heads out then hide.
