  1. Mark Sanchez destroyed the Panthers last time he faced them. Hope it doesn't happen again.

Its easy to forget how good the rest of the broncos team is. Maybe kubiak will make Sanchez job easier? I doubt it but who knows, schaub was decent once.

The Broncos had by far the most talented roster in the league last year, hands down.

But Carolina's destruction of Arizona in the NFC Championship was easily the most impressive team showing given how talented, consistent, and well-coached that Cardinals squad was. If that team showed up in the Super Bowl, Denver would have lost.

And palmers broken hand that caused him to play like hot garbage, thank the packers for that.

The plan seems to be run the ball as much as you can and let the defense take care of the rest.

If Sanchez or Siemian can keep from fucking that plan up, then maybe Denver has a good shot at the playoffs.

I feel like Sanchez is the guy for that. It helps that he isn't exactly throwing to scrubs either.

I agree to a point. My biggest concern obviously is when they have to rely on his arm to win games.

Lynch has looked the "best" at camp as far as what Kubes wants his QB to do( bootleg, big throws down the sideline, run if need be) Lynch just needs as many reps as he can during preseason games.

Alshon has been held out of camp with, you guessed it, a hamstring injury. I think Ryan Pace is waiting to see if he misses time this year before he decides what kind of contract to offer. He could very well be on a different team next year.

I don't think the Bears are happy that Jeffery does his own conditioning program in the off-season and for the past three years he's developed a series of soft tissue injuries.

McPhee hasn't practiced once this offseason, and he may not play in the pre-season. I'm going to be so bummed if he misses time. Such a beast.

Alshon scares me to death in fantasy this year

Why? Kevin whites supposed to breakout, that should help him

  12. Kellan

they'll help each other. Kevin White will benefit from Alshon being on the field and not having the pressure of lining up as WR1 against every teams best corner. That's if Alshon stays on the field.

and I'm not touching any Bears players in fantasy this year. Maybe Kevin White.

This Bosa-Chargers thing really does blow my mind. It's essentially over tens of thousands of dollars for the Chargers and a basic agreement for Bosa nearly every player has gotten. I don't know what the hell they're thinking and don't know how they expect future prospects to want to play for them after this.

Only way it makes any sense is if the Chargers are so cash-strapped that they physically cant pay him half his signing bonus now. Cause the delayed signing bonus doesnt save them cap space, and spending mins are spread over 4 years...And the offset is the easy thing to give on, if all the picks around him dont have it.

If I'm Bosa, I keep sitting out into Week 1.

Just passed Josh Gordon outside the mall. He looked high as fuck.

Just kidding haha but I kinda of panicked. He noticed me wearing a Browns shirt and by the time I realized I couldn't say "good luck tomorrow" cuz he's not playing he was already passed me haha damn

Something tells me they're having cash flow issues in SD. Only reason I could see for delaying that money until the next league year.

With that said, come on Spanos family this is insane. Get the kid in camp, lord knows the DL needs him.

I feel like both sides are being petty really. At some point Joey Bosa has to care more about getting on the field for the first time and step in for his agent and make the decision to end the standoff. Yeah the Chargers are acting dumb but Bosa hasn't proven anything yet and really doesn't have the leverage to change that. The best thing he can do is go to practice anyway, ball out, and prove he deserves a real contract on the open market in year 4.

Note that I'm only saying this because he still gets the same guaranteed money with the Chargers, it's just delayed. Its not like hes taking a paycut on draft day. Yes, there is a risk he gets seriously hurt in 2016 and has no fallback plan, but thats a rare chance by comparison, this standoff is a certain risk to his early success and ability to establish himself imo.

Basically yeah the Chargers dicked him into a corner. Acceptance is the best route at this point, he still has to build his brand and time is ticking before he loses a chance to even start this year. The best way to get back at them is to be a beast on that petty contract, make other teams fear and respect and recognize and watch film on him, and then when it's time to resign, totally snub the Chargers for a team you really want to sign with.

Looking into it, he probably shouldn't :( brain trauma is no joke. I really hope he's okay in the long run.

Yep, I think he's done. 3 concussions in under a year, and headaches still recurring up to a year later...

I also think he's gonna end up handing back that signing bonus money in some form, whether its cause he retires or the Steelers come after him for not disclosing the headaches.

  23. San Diego is all but guaranteeing that Bosa won't re-sign with them when he becomes a free agent

  24. preppyak

Why is it on Bosa to make that shift? The Chargers are asking him to do something that people behind him arent doing. And are the ones unwilling to budge on their terms (Bosa countered their offer on July 28th, they have yet to counter back...)

And he does have leverage. Not having your #3 overall pick playing Week 1 is hugely embarrassing. His holding out hurts the defense, and it hurts the franchises image. And the real leverage is that, if he holds out til Week 10 (obviously highly unlikely), then they have wasted the #3 overall pick, and Joey Bosa becomes someone who can be drafted in 2017.

Its insanely petty of the Chargers overall. Just force the offset, he'll take the deferred signing bonus, boom, problem solved.

I thought the Chargers were the ones who countered with the "one or the other" solution and Bosa's agent demanded both. Either way to me this dispute isn't over nearly as much money or security as its made out to be and it makes both sides look bad in some respects. Because the last thing a rookie wants to do to his coaches and teammates is appear like he cares more about business than football. For that matter, it makes other teams view him that way too. Even if his Agent is doing all the dirty work that perception tends to develop, especially if the team is losing without him.
