Haven't thought of this one in a long time heh.

Reminded me of Deja Vu with Denzel Washington, too, but I feel like that one might be more well known?

I dispute Sahara not existing. Infamous existence but existence nonetheless.

Sahara is referenced often enough to exist. However, the name Dirk Pitt definitely didn’t happen.

super wild you mention Deja Vu in your post. these two films were the first ones i watched when i got my Netflix account - waaaaaaaay back in the day when the only option was getting the physical discs in the mail and their online offering was about 10 films.

so yes, great pics because i totally forgot these two existed, but i remember them weirdly fondly for the Netflix connection.

  15. Denzel is amazing so any movie he is in is at least good regardles of how bad it is

i absolutely love it, think it was ahead of its time (even though that always sounds pretentious as fuck) but i gotta think it goes here: Death to Smoochy.

phenomenal cast, super dark and funny but my god i never remember it exists.

Haha wow that is really wild! Yeah I'm assuming at least one, if not both, of those films do not hold up well, but when I saw them in theaters at 13-14 years old I enjoyed them

Death to smoochy rules and I don’t think it belongs here.

Death to Smoochy? More like Death to Jon Stewart’s movie career amirite?

Shit, sorry, I misread the OP. I was focused on movies that are forgotten about but missed the part where they have to suck.

Death to Smooch does not suck. It’s great (like my post says), and yes, does not belong in this thread.

In honor of my coworkers brother naming his child, and then immediately regretting it because he didn’t know this movie existed.
