Spurs still better off than Chelsea right now. Kante is a great signing and Batshuayi is a good pick up but our back line is in shambles. We're still a full back and center back off from having a squad worthy of competing for a CL spot.

 

I mean, I'm not in panic mode or anything. I still think our starting lineup can hang with anyone in the PL. I'm just worried about our bench and the increased stress/pressure from CL play. Levy did fantastic in his moves for Wanyama and Janssen but he's been going back to his frustrating ways in his search for midfielders. We are apparently getting Georges-Kevin N'Koudou. I don't know much about him but from what I've read it's hard to get too excited about him.

 

I actually really wanted him at Arsenal but I guess his age counted against him. British, a leader, dependable and lots of Premier League experience. Good to see him get a move up the ladder though.

Helan is a great athlete but he's never been a footballer. He's got gradually worse since we signed him.

 

I just saw Lorenzo Insigne has apparently requested a transfer out of Napoli. I really hope he doesn't go to a PL team. He's so good. I don't want to face him multiple times a season.

 

His control (or lack of it) was painful to watch. I've played 5 a side with people better at bringing the ball down.

 

he's playing as a full back but he gets forward a lot since celtic have the ball so much. generally roberts plays right wing but he's left footed so it's up to janko to be the crossing threat but he's just incapable of beating men
