The whole “great friends date the same girl at different times” thing happened in my group of high school friends. Nobody cared or made it a big deal.

My circle of friends is a very FRIENDS type of thing. Some heartache, but many more great memories. I love them all. We pretty much dated each other over the years haha. Some actually married each other. In fact, my friend thinks it’s weird I dated his wife before they got together. I love them and I’m happy for them all. I’m married too, so everything is sprinkles on a sundae.

Granted, every situation is different and we don’t know the extent to Tom’s relationships, nor is it our business, but I lost count of how many people I know who’ve been in similar situations themselves. Both married and not married. Some are a really bad situations, some make sense, some I just don’t know the whole story nor is it ever my business.

 

Really love the pair of MGK and Travis. Never listened to MGK before they really started making music together.

 

My 2 year old daughter absolutely loves Please Take Me Home. It's like her favorite song right now. She can get like half of the words right and mumbles the rest. It's so cute.

 

Been jamming Nine for the time since release. Run Away is probably my favourite - the chorus is bloody catchy as fuck and i'm a sucker for the Frusciante tones on Matt's guitar.

 

That song is actually the only one I haven’t listened to in full since probably the week the album was released, haha.

 

Haha yeah i didn't really pay attention to it until just now tbh. The guitar tones in the chorus caught my ear and i was like "hey this is a pretty unusual thing for blink"

 

I wonder when the Quarantine song is coming

 

Probably a couple weeks after all the quarantined have lifted.

 

BIOMY is still a jam. It gets better every time I listen to it. I love the chorus effect on Matt's guitar in the verses with that subtle synth rounding out the main riff,

Also, yeah, Run Away is sick. Especially when Mark drops in on the chorus.

 

I'm finally watching their whole pro-shot Camden 2004 show right now. I loved this era of the band so much.

 

i remember being pretty underwhelmed by it at first and didn't listen to it for months but i've gone back to Out Of My Head recently and have been digging it a lot more these days. nothing too special but its nice!

Today I learned that Chorus has an Instagram

 

LOL. I have no idea what to really do with it. It’s basically the bigger articles and album birthdays.

 

I did a deep dive these past few weeks and really paid attention to the production of Enema, TOYPAJ, and Untitled and my goodness Jerry Finn knew what the hell he was doing with this band. TOYPAJ definitely has my favorite production ever. Enema is great, but TOYPAJ's production is just a step up from it. The harmonies, the subtle synth notes and guitar effects, and the timeless guitar and drum tones....MY GOODNESS. Its crazy that the album is 19 years old. It sounds like it came out today and it sounds way better than any pop punk/rock album thats come out over the years.

Untitled still sounds great from a production standpoint, but you can tell they went for something different and highlighted their experimental side with the use of more saturated sounds rather than the more subtle route they took with Enema and TOYPAJ. They clearly made it work on Untitled. Not trying to take anything from it. I just think it's in its own world when it comes to the production compared to the previous two.

I ripped my Blink-182 Greatest Hits DVD today. Watching their music videos really transports me back in time.

 

Glistening to TOYPAJ because of the anniversary. Opening track-wow! So great and the nostalgia! I mean, I don't have visual memories, but auditory for sure right now. Only memory i have is with The Rock Show, but i never really was too into that one. Damn! My discman is skipping now...lol it's better upside down.

Edit: lol I'm listening to Online Songs as I write this @Jason Tate ...oh wait it switched over now. But I forgot all the track names. Ha! Ooo! Forgot how I liked First Date! :) btw, I graduated the next year, but close enough. Where have the years gone, right?!

 

Omg, Stay Together for the Kids! I mean, I still can't listen to Rock Show, but every other song so far is amazing! How could I have thought this wasn't as great?! Hmm.

Edit: ok, well, second half is a bit weaker...not awful, just not as enthusiastic over it as the first half. Still. Nice time!

 

Lol ok, as soon as I say differently, then comes on another "banger" Give me one good reason. Love this!
