  1. Been meaning to check out Big Star for a while. I've never heard a bad thing about it.

Agree. Love Big Star and it's a better place to hang out, but Antique is my favorite taco place in the city. That and La Pasadita on my way home from a night out.

Ya'll cats need to get at Del Seoul in Lincoln Park if you haven't already. I will do awful things to get their shrimp tacos when I'm craving them.

If I had my perfect day of eating at restaurants in Chicago it would be Bakin N Eggs for breakfast, Del Seoul for lunch, and Bad Apple for dinner.

    Edit: *reasonably-priced restaurants*

*taking notes on all of these restaurants* My wife and I have said since moving here that we could probably eat at multiple good restaurants daily for the entire time we live here and never run out of new places to eat and while I unfortunately don't have the time or money to do that I very much believe it.

Also, because I see people talking about playing music a few posts up...if anyone is looking for a dude to play guitar/do vocals in pretty much any kind of band, shoot me a message. My old band broke up before I moved here and I am dying to get back in the swing of things.

  8. I wish I had time to really commit to another band. I could definitely fill in for a show every once in a while though.

I think we have a guy in mind, no worries. I'd love to find like a trained jazz bassist that could sing and was also a woman. Like that'd be the dream.

Bad Apple is my favorite burger place in the city and has one of the best tap-lists to boot. I've been there like 6 or 7 times and have never been let down.

What neighborhood is Bad Apple in? I could definitely use a solid new burger place.

North Center/Lincoln Square. Just south of Montrose on Lincoln. It's about a 10 min walk from the Montrose Brown Line

It's also kitty corner from Half Acre too. Too many good things happening on that section of Lincoln.

I live in Little Village so there is basically no restaurant near me that doesn't have outrageously good tacos. El Milagro is just down my street.

There's also this AMAZING hole in the wall Mexicaisian fusion place called Dos Ricos close to my work on South Cicero. There are literally 3 parking spots. Korean Beef Tacos, Orange Chicken Tacos, Tempura Tacos... Ay guey!

Having moved in a couple months ago from a town that voted Taco Bell as their favorite authentic mexican restaurant, I feel I've landed in paradise.

They opened a Dos Ricos in North Center/Lincoln Square right off Lincoln. Wife and I had it a fair amount. Really good stuff, although they fuck our order up 50% of the time.
