I really loved Betty, definitely want another season. HBO isn’t quick to cancel the non-Sunday shows either so as long as the number were decent I’m sure they will.

 

Some of the choices in the middle of this queer eye season are kind of boring :/

Really? I like the activist girl just out of high school and the Jersey Shore DJ (I guess, I haven't finished his ep yet) but they just don't feel like the right canidates for the show!!!

 

I really enjoyed The Father of the Bride and The North Philadelphia Story episodes

 

I just watched the mom of the there daughters and her husband, great episode. There's been some top notch ones this season

 

I agree that Jersey shore is the low point, but it has its moments. Activist girl needed them for sure, she needs self time so badly

 

If you liked Betty, definitely don't miss Skate Kitchen. It's even better.

this season of Queer Eye was great. holds up with the better half of the series, for sure.

 

It just gets worse honestly. First two episodes were by far the best.

 

I don’t remember seeing that anywhere but you may be right. Although, they could definitely keep this thing going if the cast wanted too.

Uuummmmm, basically everything. Lena Dunham (not off to a great start) adapted a British series that was one of the bleakest comedies ever produced, and in the translation to an American setting everything completely changed contexts to just be unwatchable. Almost every character competes to be the worst person you could ever encounter, and so much of what happens is just horrifying without any worthwhile humor to break it up. The writing is truly bad. Plus they managed to make David Tennant unlikeable which until that point was literally impossible!!

 

They probably had agreements with other services before they ever thought of having their own. I think I read that some of the marvel stuff will be off of Disney plus for a while and then eventually go back

So apparently in 2025 and 2026, some of the MCU movies are going back to Netflix for 18 months. Don’t know how true that is, I’m trying to find where I saw it but all I’m seeing is a reddit post now. But it has to do with them basically making deals with different networks/services and giving them exclusive rights during certain time periods. Then they finally thought “hey let’s make our own” but already had deals in place
