You must fix your heart Supporter

I liked the first 4 and thought Roanoke was the best. Never finished any of the others.

I think I managed 3 episodes of Freak Show. It was just so boring.

Not really, it’s never been my thing. For Roanoke I was constantly aware that what I was watching was fake because there were so many layers of separation between actual reality and the horror happening on screen. Then when it switched to the return I was briefly very excited because there were stakes again and I didn’t know what would happen. But like two minutes after that they said all but one person died and the stakes were gone again, lol. Plus I don’t like Cheyanne Jackson at all and his character had way too much screentime. Leslie Jordan was the only real highlight for me.

And yes, Kathy’s accent in Freak Show was great! She’s the best. I guess I didn’t mind her in Roanoke either, but she didn’t have enough focus to make up for everything else I hated.

I hadn't watched since the second or third season. I thought that the show always lost the plot way too quick and became directionless. Watched the most recent season and what do you know? Same shit.

Scream Queens is so much better than any season of AHS imo

  7. Yeah, I mean at this point, I think most people know whether AHS is for them or not. I think those flaws are the same aspects that fans enjoy about the show. Over-the-top, extremely campy and self-aware, anything can happen (whether it makes sense with the plot or not), etc. It's definitely not for everyone, and I say that as someone who has enjoyed most seasons but still sees major problems and gets frustrated from often, haha. It's not a show I think most people take seriously.

I never could get into AHS honestly but I can see why it’s so popular and I’m glad it makes people happy

I don't remember what season it was but I watched the first episode where a guy and a girl broke into this abandoned house and the guy got his arm ripped off after sticking it through a hole in the wall or something

Turned it off right after that

Honestly think I might enjoy Channel Zero No-End House more than any season of AHS.

  11. I enjoyed No-End House, even a bit more than the first season. How are seasons three and four of Channel Zero?

  12. I think that was season two, and that guy was Adam Levine lol

They are all fantastic really, pretty much the benchmark for what horror television could and should be

Butcher’s Block has some incredibly striking visuals and is legit terrifying

I just wish they did SOMETHING with the creature. I feel like 1 & 3 underwhelmed with a legit creepy ass monster design.

Maybe not technically horror, but I thought the second season of American Crime Story was pretty disturbing and one of Ryan Murphy's best seasons of television he's been a part of. It's simply incredible.

I wish I could experience watching it again for the first time. I'm not sure why it didn't get too much attention on this site, but it blew me away.

  24. Very good: Asylum, Hotel
Good: Cult, both seasons of Scream Queens
    Okay: Murder House, Coven
    Bad: Freak Show, Roanoke

    Haven't seen the rest.

By the way, Penny Dreadful is very, very good. I can't remember any other horror shows I've seen, though.
