my brain is off today, and while i was eating toast this afternoon for breakfast, i thought to myself "damn, i wish i didn't have to chew right now"

and with summer approaching it'll be "it's too hot to eat" season

Related: when music videos had super long intros and you missed the “tag” that told you who it was so you had to wait like 5 minutes for music to start to figure out who the artist was. Small problem since once you saw the video then you knew who was on future watches but still

Along those same lines:

In fifth grade I was FURIOUS with TRL because they never actually played “Freak on a Leash”. It was always fucking #2 each day and Carson would simply tell us it was number two while talking over a ten second clip of the video and then of course #1 would get full video play. So many days rushing home from school only to see Korn bested again by a boy band or Spears and not even get 3 minutes of air time for the song so many were voting for smh

 

I lived this very same experience. I can feel my disappointment even now.
