I think it’s a late bloomer track, after Walking in the Snow,JUST, never look back...gets kinda overshadowed. Love it tho

 

"never look back" doesn't do much for me which probably has an impact, but yeah it is a bit buried towards the end there

Killer Mike qoute tweet'd a few folks asking if he wrote his verse for walking in the snow in regards to George Floyd and he says he wrote the verse in Nov 19', but in regards to Eric Garner.

Dudes got a way of hitting the nail on the head.

 

Really shows how predictable all of this shit is. Devastating.

This album is so good.

 

The very end of “Walking In The Snow” is hilarious.

 

This thing is a fucking masterpiece musically and necessary lyrically

 

I haven’t car moshed to an album like this since Yeezus and it’s very cathartic rn

 

I've listened to this album 4 times today. I fucking love it. I love the aggression and urgency in these songs. No skippable tracks. 'walking in the snow' and 'JU$T' gives me chills.

 

The ground below...is RTJ does Jay Z and I adore it

Holy shit, this might be their best album. If it's not, it's basically dead tied with RTJ2, but I could honestly see this taking it. Every song on here is fucking amazing, the production is absolutely incredible (I don't know how El-P is still getting better and better as a producer at age 45 but he sure fucking is), the raps are consistently great and this is also the best lineup of guests on any RTJ project too. Absolutely perfect timing too

So fucking happy with this, I can tell I'm going to be playing it nonstop for the rest of the year. Probably rap AOTY so far for me unless I'm blanking on something

 

Yeah this is a truly fantastic album. Walking In The Snow is the obvious highlight.

 

Got BNM. Again. All 4 of their albums have got BNM now. Any other artists done that?

i know this could be said about any of their albums, but the production on this thing is just astounding

 

this is actually my first experience with them, this is a fantastic record. looking forward to going back to the others.

 

RTJ 2 got me into them. You’ll probably enjoy that.

 

A few, actually. All 4 Iceage albums got it. There's some others who've gotten 4+ in row but not all their records (Kendrick, Beach House, Caribou, to name a few off top).
