Drake is a good actor, but I refuse to believe that video he posted after he was released was staged. That was real emotions in that video and everything he did in the weeks after definitely forced WWE's hand.

Really surprised that Fandango is back so soon, thought he'd be gone ages. Feels like a stop gap feud for Imperium, though. Oney and Danny got that hype package last week and weren't pinned, so they're still there.

 

I've never seen Titus this pissed.

 

Never like Titus much as a worker, but god damn he is a hell of a human being.

 

Yeah that’s what I’m getting at. That video after his release definitely saved his job I think. And obviously he knew before the match last night he had his job back because he didn’t match that emotion level after the loss or when HHH came out. Which is understandable cuz it was real the first time.

 

This basically confirms everything about WWE and how they evaluate talent - no wonder so many people wanna leave

Couple things on this:

what a dumb thing to say when his contract is up soon and his girlfriend already works for the competition. Of course we all know this is how Vince and maybe a couple of others think, but I don’t think most of the writing team thinks this way just based on interviews. Obviously they don’t have the final say.

Also of note is how repeatedly people say or NXT “everyone’s working toward the same goal...” just basically showing that the main roster staff just doesn’t care about anything but themselves. Aka Vince.

 

Solid dynamite this week. The video package with britt training in her wheel chair, pure gold. It's what separates aew from wwe most. Things that involve almost no effort.... but they're funny, quick, simple and furthers her character.
