Chelsea are such a weird club in the transfer market. Every signing is either incredible or a huge disappointment. For every Hazard and Kante there's a Torres or Shevchenko.

Werner could legit go there and just stop scoring. I love it.

Oh yeah, I mean he's guaranteed to tear the league up. What an amazing signing and statement of intent. Like when they came out of relative no where to sign Hazard after winning the Champions League.

    But I can dream haha.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

I genuinely wish Werner went to literally any other team ugh

I really wanna hear your comment on it. It makes no sense to compare it to the general situation in world politics anyway. If that was the standard we all should just stop talking about football alltogether...

Werner is a little overrated but he can be a great signing if used correctly. But it really depends on the specific position he is used. I can see this transfer going either way.

What else are you gonna suggest? Banning them one or two years from the UCL will have a huge impact. Thats the most you can do.

  7. Oh, I wasn't arguing for a worse punishment. I think a year or two out of CL is fine. And yes, it will hurt them. But my point was, they'll be able to recover much faster than most other clubs.

Honestly think Manchester United should be awarded the trophy based on this.

  9. lol that’s something a club like Spurs would post

i tore a hole in the fabric of time Moderator

remember that time United crossed like 80 times in one match

Ahem it was 81 times, thank you very much.

This is worth a 2 year ban in and of itself. How awful.

  16. Spurs linked to Ruben Neves today. I’d say there’s roughly a 0% chance this happens but it’d be a perfect signing. Adding him to Ndombele and Lo Celso as midfield 3 would be nasty.

I know this has been said before, but do Dortmund not have anyone in any youth team or reserve team that they can stick a #9 shirt on and call a centre forward?

I know Haaland is missing, but it's just so clear they're missing a focal point. Even someone to just go and stand in the right areas to distract the CB's.

Having said that, I said the same thing last week and they went and stuck 6 in during the second half, so what do I know?

Not a youth player and not really a #9, but their sporting director Michael Zorc used to be a very prolific goalscorer in the '80s and '90s. Time to dust off those old boots and make a comeback.

  20. lol they finally win the league and now world class strikers aren't good enough for them

edit: I don't think they need him. But I'm not gonna say "he isn't good enough" for them.

Heavy rumours that United are in for Van de Beek from Ajax. Their boards mouthpiece has come out saying we're in talks for him.

Seems a strange one for me. Getting another box-to-box player when we're only going to be playing two in the middle and Pogba is nailed seems a bit strange. Unless Ole has given up on playing wingers and wants to do a 4-3-1-2 type formation with Bruno, Pogba and VdB all in the same lineup, and Martial and Rashford up top.

Lingard/Pereira replacement and alternate to Grealish I think. Seems Ole wants a very versatile midfielder that can play anywhere in a 5 and is better than those two. That’s my take on it anyway.

I agree, I just think it's unrealistic. Ole is clearly desperate to never have to play Lingard or Pereira ever again, which is understandable, but I don't know. Seems like too many starter quality players for limited positions. VdB is great from what I've seen mind, be interesting to see if it happens.

  24. Sell off a few of the excess midfielders to get some cash. Buy Neves and Aarons. And I guess whatever backup striker we find for cheap.

  25. Also seeing Dier might be getting a new deal. I think most fans will cry about that but I think it’d be smart to hold onto him. Yeah, he’s decent at best, but he can plug in at DM, CB, or RB when needed. It’s nice to have a versatile backup like that.
