I was under the impression they were all pretty leftist/maybe somewhat anarachist but maybe it's just Serj hah. I don't know how many of the political lyrics Daron ever wrote

Yeah they definitely helped steer my developing politics in the leftward direction. I was 14 when I started listening to that album and of course 14 year old me didn't really know enough to associate things in their lyrics with "left" or "right", but Prison Song especially got me thinking about shit like the justice system in ways that, even if still shallow, were still beyond what I had ever thought about it before hah.

Deer Dance as well, but I admittedly wasn't a huge fan of Deer Dance at first because I wasn't really a huge rock/metal fan at the time and those opening chords punching you in the face always turned me off for a while. I got over that eventually heh
