You guys see how everyone is shitting on Emma Watson right now for posting a black square on her IG? Is it deserved? She's been speaking out about this stuff for YEARS, hasn't she? Seems weird that everyone would be targeting her while other celebrities, musicians, etc are doing the same thing... Am I missing something?

she hasn't posted anything about George Floyd or BLM and she isn't amplifying black voices or donating to our knowledge she's doing literally nothing at this very important juncture

Krist Novaselic is weird as well. Supported Obama in 2008, donated to Ron Paul in 2007, was going to run as a Democratic lieutenant governor then didn’t.

 

But based on her previous years of talking openly about it, why is she getting shit on now? Seems obvious where she stands on the issue. But I guess since she's not said anything about this Floyd specifically, I guess that makes sense that maybe people are upset with her. She probably should have had at least made a statement along with the post.
