Keep shooting people with tear gas night after night and someone was eventually going to fight back.

Doesn’t look good for the two cops that’s got ran over. This was a peaceful protest prior to the cops shooting at protestors.

 

In Boston yesterday there was an 8+ hour peaceful protest, and then once night came the police showed up in riot gear, trapped all the protesters in the Common, and started getting violent and using tear gas.

 

Well, curfew in NYC is about to start. Thinking it could get ugly

Reports of lots of looting going on in NYC. CNN reporter saying that it's not protesters, it's people who show up and blend in with the protesters by hanging in the back or front of a crowd and then they go and loot the businesses when they see the chance.

Ugh

Customs and Border Patrol deploys troops to DC

 

Many of the officers of this town decided to take a knee with the protesters earlier when there were no problems (while I was there, I saw a couple give us a thumbs up while we were marching). Apparently many of the cops tonight though are from out of town and they seem to be getting aggressive with people not leaving after curfew.

*as a disclaimer I am not calling the cops of this town "good" or anything so we don't need to have that discussion. Just saying that it seems the ones actually part of this town's department didn't want any problems*

 

Remember when it was one month ago and this was what the whole country was focused on

 

Is this not true? I keep seeing people talk about how this stuff is bullshit, but I need it explained to me.

Oh I do think it is true. A majority of the protesters aren't here to just destroy businesses and steal all their stuff. Outsiders come knowing that through all the craziness they can loot these stores and blend in with the protesters so they get away with it. Are there people that are disagreeing with that?
