Wellp, my girlfriend told her boss over email that she doesn't feel safe returning to work right now and he replied that he takes this as her resignation.

 

I hope he goes eats a dick

 

I want to tell him off so bad. Sounds like he's saying it's her resignation to get out of collecting unemployment. Told her she should reply saying "I had no intention of resigning" but she had already replied that she understands. Applied for unemployment today anyways to see what happens.

That really sucks. People can be so selfish. Wild how hard it is for some business owners to just say something like "I understand, let me know when you feel safe to work again and I can get you back on the schedule"

 

Watching the news and they are showing people looting a Target in philly, and not gonna lie, watching people just casually walk out with carriages full of shit is pretty funny

 

The funny thing is he originally said a month or two ago that he's understanding of the concerns for peoples health. Then when people didn't show up, he passive aggressively complimented the one worker who did come in and threw shade at the others for staying home and reminded them that they can't collect unemployment anymore since they have a job to come back to. Now this. He's just a piece of shit.

Yeah it's pretty wild when you see images of people being super casual about it like pushing carts and strolling out with that cheesecake hah.

Not to make light of the protests... Things are just so dark now that any little thing to smile about is a little therapeutic
