It can't be overstated how this is the most cowardly shit. Seems like this is the Dem line/tactic across the country at this point. He knows he can't dismiss the protests outright, but he also doesn't want to ruffle the feathers of the sensitive libs and rich people who have conniptions over broken windows. So he needs to invent a fictional world there is some hard distinction between "peaceful protestors" and "violent agitators." That way, he can act like he is *actually* on the side of the protestors, while at the same time permitting and excusing the endless police violence against them

More information on the Dallas “store owner” who was beaten last night.

Still nothing confirmed exactly and not sure what was happening before this video but to me, this shows he wasn’t just some poor dude defending his store but instead was out to fucking stab people. What a moron.

This is the first angle I’ve seen where you can see beforehand that he was walking around the streets wielding the sword which sure makes it look like he wasn’t some store owner hanging around out front. Here he’s walking around with the sword, people are throwing things at him BECAUSE he has the sword (which would certainly suggest he’d probably been at it for a bit), and then he finally loses it and runs after one of them because it’s now clear to him he’s got nowhere to go:

Following this up w/ "I know that's not what you're saying" doesn't make it any dumber. The point is clearly that our police cannot be trusted, & that asking them to keep society "safe" leads to all the bullshit being shared in this thread.

I wanna say the same for your heart, but while I think you're more misguided than "bad," I also think you're misguided to the extent where I can't really call wherever your heart is "the right place."
