Today feels specifically dystopian.

 

If anyone wants an easy way to tell where things are happening, I’ve been using these two:

-On the iPhone Maps app (and probably other apps), look for masses of No Entry signs (Red with white horizontal line). The area surrounding the MPLS 5th precinct is inundated with them right now, as is downtown and the 3rd precinct area

-on Snapchat of all apps, if you scroll up on the main picture page, then there’s a map that shows which places have the highest intensity of users at the moment. It’s like a weather map, so it gets progressively more red the more people there are. You can also see stories on there, but it’s not like a super up-to-date thing

 

Yeah my girlfriend has been looking at the Snapchat live feeds to stay away from the news' spin. Some really scary stuff

 

Lots of videos from Portland coming in now. The tear gas and police voice sounds out of fucking robocop.

 

Pretty sure they just beat a dude to death in Dallas. He had a sword protecting a store and he lunged at them and they like stoned him practically. I won’t link the video because it’s gross.

 

It makes sense because she’s a politician and thus not human. Her career first, everything else second.
