Symphonic/Melodic Deathcore was around around the time of 2006-2009 before Make Them Suffer, Abigail Williams debut EP and the band The Breathing Process and the band Becoming the Archetype was more Death Metal with minimal core elements but was often lumped in the scene.

 

Make Them Suffer's first two records are incredible but I was not huge on Worlds Apart. Interested to see what their release this year will be like.

^ One of my favorite songs of theirs. Hit me in the right way at the right time.

 

I loved Becoming the Archetype

 

Ire is fine for stadium/radio rock. I'm not really a fan of it, and it's a far cry from what PWD started as, but in order to become one of the biggest bands in metal, that's what it took.

 

This albums sort of follows right along with Worlds Apart.

Those early Cattle Decapitation records... are a trip

 

To be fair, Cattle Decapitation's early albums probably predicted the future of human society at the rate we are going in 2020.

Time to embrace our animal overlords.

 

"Testicular Manslaughter" and "Pedeadstrians" never fail to make me snort-laugh.

 

I've re-fallen in love with this band. The bridge to this tune absolutely rules.

 

I enjoyed this album, it was my go to for sleep for a few months

 

Also the new Wolf Tooth album is just the type of heavy metal I've been craving.

 

Top tier worst band name but a good record in the vein of Beneath the Massacre.

 

Was able to secure the promo for The Ghost Inside. I know it’s not metal per se but I know it’s a highly anticipated record. I’ll try and field any questions about it anyone may have.

Vektor wasn’t even that good

 

I am not going to support them anymore but they were the best modern Thrash band this century, so agree to disagree. Which is why the fact that the guy is complete garbage stings all the more.

 

For those in need of some metalcore in their life.
