Finally finished A Plague Tale: Innocence, I enjoyed it except for the final boss fight ugh.

Just have a few collectibles to pick up for the rest of the achievements

 

It looks like a really good game but I just had no idea if I would have enjoyed the gameplay.

It's ALOT of stealth, vast majority of the combat encounters are pretty slow and methodical(almost like a puzzle) and can become frustrating for sure. Rest of the game is solving puzzles(which I thought most were good) and wandering around and collecting items used for crafting various things. Visuals are fantastic and the story is pretty good too.

The nephew and I finished Wolfenstein Young Blood and a I convinced him to move on to Apex. He loves it now. I hadn't played since the first season and I have to say I liked most of changes. I'm not sure about most new characters though. Lobo seems interesting because of that teleport, but the rest not so much. Also I don't really understand why they made the original map smaller for this season but whatever. Overall this game is still fun as hell though and so polished.

 

I might give it a shot. I finished Hellblade recently as this caught my eye. I don't mind slow gameplay if there is a reason for it and if the story is good then it looks like it might be worth it.

a friend and i are planning to catch up over the weekend online, does anyone have fun turn-based multiplayer games to recommend? on PC preferably.

we already did Slay the Spire (but it's single player so we had to pilot 1 deck) so we're looking for other ones. Maybe something like For the King or Civ 6 but not as complicated. thanks!

yeah, that is wild that it’s possible. there’s a lot to appreciate here so i’m not sure i can give it justice.

i have some friends who work in 3D and VR (im somewhat sure they helped out complete some assets in both Witcher 3 and Spiderman) and i’ll have to ask what they think

 

It’s definitely impressive for sure. Looks so real

 

there’s a post in that thread that talked about how LD4 cheated animating liquids, and it’s amusing to see the comparison to that one vs this one

sometimes developers are just very clever though (ie botw chemistry engine), so im really excited to find out how all of these work!!
