They are only proposing these changes because of one player and one player only - it sets a terrible precedent

no one was asking for group play playoffs during strike shortened seasons

 

Because that was a very different circumstance. No one “signed up” for the season abruptly stopping either but they’re trying to make do

I don’t really have a problem with them experimenting with a play in game but I doubt they’ll do it anyway
