Why are mail-in ballots actually so controversial in the US? They are being used in countless countries for decades without any problems. I mean how else are people, that are not at home on election day, going to vote?

 

Because this country sucks so much ass.

 

In 2004 I was a junior in college but still registered in my hometown. I voted absentee (for John Kerry :/ ) several weeks before the election no problem mailing from my college campus

the rumor is that Trump is against it cuz he’s hoping for an “October Surprise” which wouldn’t help if millions voted by mail beforehand

 

That's not really the answer I wanted to hear, but sadly it's the answer I expected to get.

 

because it's actually helpful and makes sense and helps poor people

I haven’t seen it confirmed that the man at the rally is in fact Chauvin, so I don’t want to jump on that one just yet, but there is a picture of him going around pulled from his fb page of him wearing a red hat reading “Make Whites Great Again,” so it’s good that, you know, that motherfucker was allowed to be a fucking cop.

 

Actually, the more I read about this, I don’t know if this is true either. I really hate the internet sometimes.

 

The Mpls police union tried to make a big deal about the mayor not allowing city police to be in uniform while *casually* attending that Trump rally. They’re disgusting shits
