Yeah I feel like mages in all games start of slow initially and then get really fun as you get stronger

 

Mage is definitely the way to go in DA:I, makes the combat more fun imo

 

I don't tend to be mages in these Western rpgs but it felt far superior in DA:I

 

I've been playing through KOTORII - The Sith Lords. It's been past time for everyone to admit its a better RPG than KOTOR.

 

is the opening to Horizon supposed to be a slog? I'm like 5 hours in and it still hasn't really opened up. I like the mechanics though and it looks truly gorgeous.

didn't this come out when BOTW came out? I remember the comparisons between the two and how the games started up.

 

It picks up once you get out of the first area

 

Minecraft Dungeons is pretty fun tbh lol

 

I keep getting distracted and hunting everything in sight lol so it is kinda my fault tbh

 

I played What The Golf all weekend. Dumb fun.

 

i wanna start Horizons. ive enjoyed the little ive played but when the huge map opened up i panicked, noped and then didn’t play again lol.

 

Horizon is one of my fave open world games, love it so much

 

Horizon is probably my favorite new IP from this generation.

 

Is it linear? I have no interest in Minecraft cuz I don't really understand it but Dungeons seems interesting to me

 

I couldn't get further than two hours into Horizons because the opening and then the first couple missions are an absolute bore. I hear it gets much better.

 

It’s pretty linear, yeah. There’s some “side areas” that lead to extra mobs + maybe a treasure chest or two.

Essentially a very watered down ARPG. Super charming game though! I’m having a blast with it.

 

Silent Hill stuff coming to that Dead by Daylight game. Guess the SH marketing is starting to ramp up.
