I don't play those games or Switch games for that matters for great graphical fidelity.

 

Sure but the other first party games look so good and sharp so I just wish these would as well. It’s also a little odd to me that they don’t because they were good at making their games look good on Wii and WiiU AND the helped make the BotW tech which also looks good.

 

Developers are weird, man. I mean, I don't expect many ports to look great and funding for BOTW and the time to implement all that fancy tech must be wildly different from game to game.

 

Slowly working my way through Octopath. The way the story connects, the graphics and the battle system vaguely reminds me of Golden Sun and that's both a great and a bad thing.

 

How far are you?

 

to a certain extent I agree but like anything below 900p docked makes me raise an eyebrow. 540p is just wild.

 

Wasn't The Witcher 3 somewhere around there? Or was that just handheld?

 

Super small update they made to the eShop but now you can press Y when on the great deals tab to filter your results.

Nintendo putting out one useful update to the store three years after launch.

 

The store is so laggy it kills me

 

Mine takes forever to load things and then sometimes it randomly crashes after I scrolled down 200 items and have to scroll back. It's so poorly designed.

 

Yeah. It also somehow goes back to the main menu on the left or whatever you want to call it and then you have to scroll all the way down again too.

 

yeah about that but I've been contra Witcher 3 since that game came out regardless of its resolution haha

 

Witcher 3 is also a much more demanding game that probably never should have come to Switch to begin with from a technical standpoint lol

 

The Witcher 3 should not exist.

 

You say that but some people have enjoyed it on Switch.

Also there are people out there pretending like there isn't a difference between 1080p and 540p and 20fps and 60fps so really people will enjoy anything

 

people who can't see 60 fps confuse me

 

Not only can you see it, you can feel it, especially in games that profit from hight frame rates

 

It's not that I can't see the difference, I just don't think it's nearly as important as other people do. Some people act like it's the most important thing that determines whether or not a game is enjoyable, whereas I think it's pretty low on the list

 

Some games, like racing games, are simply better at 60fps

 

I don't like frames in my games. Widescreen sucks.
