Yeah, his senior aide Dominic Cummings tested positive for Covid, hopped in a car and drove 250 miles to his parents house where he stayed for a week. He then returned at a later date simply for some sight-seeing. UK lockdown regs were that if you have symptoms or test positive, you don't leave your home. This weekend senior Tories, including Boris this evening at a press conference, have chosen to defend Cummings, argued that he didn't break regulations, he acted justifiably, even that he was just being a good parent. They've completely shredded public trust.

 

Seeing that “Ross” stores opened today and were selling clothes for $1 or 49 fucking cents and of course stores had lines wrapping around the entire store eager to get in to buy useless shit they weren’t able to waste money on for the last two months lmao

Think we should separate the country in half - logical and illogical. And if any doctors and nurses want to take care or the illogical, bless em, they can do that, but the rest of us will be patient and wear masks and stuff. As we get all the good cities and states. The illogical get Kentucky and shit like that.

I really hope we’re all wrong and the public health experts are just missing something about the virus because of course I don’t want hundreds of thousands of people to die and I also don’t want to social distance and be afraid to visit my family for the next year +. If we’re right I’ll take no satisfaction it’s going to suck bad, Id much rather these idiots be right and they can own the libs to the extreme or whatever it is they think they’re doing.
