I get what that statement means but do you think Moneyball is overrated in that it’s not that good?

 

It is underrated in that it was much better than the Oscar bait it was lumped in with. It is overrated in that so many people had this observation that it started to cease to be underrated.

It was critically acclaimed and well received by pretty much everyone but I feel the “underrated” aspect of it is that it’s not mentioned much when looking at the “best of the last 10 years” lists and whatnot.
