Interesting to see where they go with the sound. More experiments or back to status quo

I hope they still release albums. I love to listen to full albums and to buy the vinyl. I just have a worry if they start releasing 6 song EPs on Spotify only etc. But I'm keeping the faith ! And they've never let me down yet. Love their shit

P.s lots of people are commenting where is Ben

Has it been confirmed that this is an EP and not a full length? I know he mentioned in the IG story that they finished 6 songs, but I couldn't tell if that was his way of saying it's a 6 song ep, or if they're more than halfway through finished recorded a full lenght.

The only reason I mentioned an EP was because when he announced they were starting their own label now the hopeless contract was done, they could release singles or songs whenever they want. And I thought he maybe said they could just drop an EP. I'm hoping I'm wrong tho and they are just half way through a full length album

  13. AJ was on a podcast in February and kept mentioning “album” along with all the writing he’s been doing. I think at the time they were still trying to decide between label offers, so plenty possible the plan has shifted now but I feel it’ll still end up being a full length — they just don’t have to wait to drop anything.

I totally got the vibe they were dropping an EP but maybe not?

I have a feeling Ben (amazing drummer on last 3 releases) is maybe not with the group any longer. Who knows why. Maybe he wanted the band to stay with Hopeless. Maybe there are personal things going on. Or maybe I'm completely wrong and reading into it. Lol.

Just noticed he didn't like any of the posts and wasn't up for the shoot. But on the clip from the music video, it sounded like possibly his drumming. Real drumming is a major part of the TDS sound so hope they don't go full drum machine.

If you look at their latest post^ on TDS IG they thank Aaron Gilespie ( drummer from Underoath and others) for his work and help. Clicking on his page he is offering his drum services since he isn't touring (with the dangerous summer members liking this post). Some of the comments are saying on the dangerous summer post "you're working with Aaron Gilespie ?" So far this is my bet for at least the new drummer on the recordings. Dangerous summer Detective work activated haha

Update Ben took the Dangerous Summer out of his bio on IG. Bummed as I feel his drum parts were an integral part of the bands sound and what they've become. He will be missed.

that's a bummer but Aaron is an absolute monster on the kit, no complaints from me

probably Define the Great Line but you can't go wrong with Lost in the Sound of Separation either, he's a beast on both

"Moving for the Sake of Motion" might be his best performance if you want a specific song
