Citra for Android has released in early access. the fact that i have Ocarina 3D running 95 percent perfectly on my fucking cellphone complete with touchscreen support is insane. emulation breakthroughs are so exciting.

 

That's incredible, but I can't imagine playing it on a phone lol. How is it?

 

its fantastic. i have a dualshock 4 designated for my phone with a mount to attach it, so its as good as playing anything else! it was very easy to remap, etc. the only issues ive run into performance wise has been one or two seconds of audio clipping when loading into a new area. other than that its perfect so far.

first screenshot is default screen layout and second shot is the custom ratio i went with. phone screens are so big now that these two windows are at least bigger than standard N3DS screens so it looks great

 

and obv the touch screen is emulated with the phone touch screen so nothing is lost

 

The physical of this under $20 on amazon, should I buy it?

 

maybe look up a gameplay video and THEN buy it.

haha, it’s fun but it’s def not for everyone. i think i got about to 20 hours and a lot of redos until i finally understood some of how the game works.

but i also enjoyed it to the point that i also bought it on PC (with dlc this time).

Playing the splatfest right now and it’s not even fun :( I chose ketchup and I keep getting entirely american teams against entirely japanese mayo teams and they’re winning by like 85% each round

im actually only really decent with 1 weapon in this game, but the japanese mayo teams we interacted with are def not as skilled as those. if you end up with a bad team just reenter the lobby so you get paired with a new set of players.

Do people generally think the game is easy or am I just mad good at it lol? I literally lost one battle the entire game and it was just because I challenged one of those battle cafe guys (I think in the castle town) not realizing I was way underleveled lol

 

Very easy. Pokemon was never hard and has only gotten easier. If you’re looking for challenging Pokemon combat, you need to play online, in the game or via Pokemon Showdown.

 

Oh I don't mind it being easy, I like feeling like I'm amazing at the game lmao

 

Yeah pokemon is always incredibly easy, remember it was made for kids

 

I beat the whole game with like 6 Pokémon that I over-leveled

yeah it’s easy

 

Yeah it’s never been super hard and the automatic experience share didn’t help this gen lol. You could always go into settings and turn battle mode to set if you want to make it a tad harder. It doesn’t ask you if you want to switch Pokémon every time your opponent sends a in new one.

I’m hopeful the a DLC will be more challenging but we’ll see.

 

At least it's better than let's go where it's literally impossible to lose a battle lol
