I’m in a weird position because my family is like that, especially my mom, but my step dad isn’t at all and it kinda cancels out

 

My parents became more loving once I moved out, lol. there was definitely a questionable period of time post-college graduation where all they did was make me feel shitty.

I had one of those. Thankfully they divorced and he moved to Florida. But my mom isnt really that great either. She is without a doubt, one of the most negative, pessimistic people I've ever met. We live together and I just try to distance myself as much as possible. I always offer her weed in a not so joking way. I think it would help her a lot
