The Pinegrove line doesn’t take me out of the song when I listen to it ‘cause it’s written in a way where I can engage the observation however I want. But, when I hear Matty talk about it, I get more & more upset about that whole thing.

 

The only song I do not like on here is Don't Worry

I've seen a few "acoustic" mixes of "The Birthday Party," but none of them felt right. Here's my take.

I can’t wait. Been waiting patiently

 

7th listen- I love it all. I love the length and how twisty it is. For every moment that I question if it is working, there is another awe inspiring moment. The first drop into Tonight still makes me feel like I am floating away. Unreal how good this is.

I started seeing colour once again

There are just so many songs on here I realllly like but don't love cause of one reason or another. Nothing Revealed would be an absolute smash of this record without that voice, and Then Because would be one of the best songs on here if it was just like :35 seconds longer. OCD for sure, but I feel like they were SO close on so many songs.

Also - half of these songs could be great closers I think.
