I'm really lazy so I really do want someone to go through and take all the songs from all the records and make distinct 1975 playlist by "type." kthanksbye

Maybe it's a defense mechanism where if I don't like one of their tracks I just mark it as read and not let it count against them hahaha

 

I don't LOVE On My Mind, but I like it.

 

1 hour until that Mind Shower.ai thing. Final bets on what it is?

 

2005 is just kinda bland, I do like it though. Even Phoebe, who I loove doesn’t add much to it. I think it’s one of their weaker acoustic songs.

but as I said earlier I think the 4 song sequence up to and including it is really bad so that probably plays into it. I didn’t listen to that song pre release, so all I know of it is in that sequence.

 

I know it’s a simple song but I love it as a closer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Having No Head might be the best instrumental they've done...the post-rock one on ILYW is close too though. Does H2D count with some of the vocal?

 

I think, from front to back, this album is loaded.

 

I need to familiarize myself with song names. I keep staring at the tracklist and drawing blanks for what songs sound like what

For me this is pretty instantly better than ABIIOR, which I still adore some of the tracks from, but not super high on the album as a whole.

 

There ain't no Love It If We Made It on this bitch so...I can't say the same

 

The subtle horns on JC make that song!

 

Seriously - its one of my favorite moments on the whole record. The horns are everything.

 

There's like 6-7 songs on ABI that are better than every song on this album (except maybe M&YTS), lol.

 

is "I Think There's Something You Should Know" maybe the best song on the album? not sure who knows

It's probably my least favourite of their big instrumental tracks. It sounds pretty but doesn't really grab me more than that.
