I like the instrumentation too but it’s just too random and much for me

 

The fact that god bless into roadkill into M and You are songs made by the band who made sex ...and that I enjoy them...is a pretty big feat

 

I’m still trying to wrap my head around this. If anything it’s a really weird album, definitely their weirdest and least “poppy”

 

It’s hard because I enjoy them even though they aren’t necessarily what I want to hear from them, if that makes sense.

 

Yep. Which is why I think it's less immediately satisfying for me. It'll take some time before I really know how I feel about it.

 

Hopefully their slick studio Genesis opus comes next lol
