I was supposed to be seeing them tonight in Milwaukee. :(

 

Got really hopeful that maybe my pre-order would arrive early because the post office has been so fast lately but then I remembered my Brief Inquiry vinyl came well over a week after release date. I can't remember when it shipped but it may have not even shipped until after the release date. Hope that doesn't happen this time

 

I feel like it’s just matty delivering the vocals really differently

 

Yeah def dont prefer that version but I did enjoy it

I remember reading the last album cycle that someone took two cds to self checkout, scanned the same one twice, and bagged ABI to not steal but not get red flagged for early release lmao

 

Also all the redditors are descending upon target to try and buy this early so it’s coming

 

vinyl pushed back to June 12th lol - so much for delaying this release so that the physical could release with it

 

It'll be like the Area 51 raid, except I care.

 

My semester just ended a few hours ago, got some edibles laying about, this first listen is gonna rule

 

If it doesn't leak, i get to be one of the first in the world to listen to it at midnight. Take that suckers!

 

They tried. Jamie responded to someone on Twitter last month that asked if they’d delay it again if the vinyl isn’t ready in time and he said no, this would be the last one and if the dates don’t match, they’d release it on the 22nd regardless.

 

Thought about trying Target myself and realized I own nothing that plays CDs

 

I still think the album wasn't finished and the vinyl was a convenient excuse

to be fair - only the clear vinyl seems to be delayed to the 12th. the Urban variant and the 1975 store variant are still said to be shipping on the 22nd
