I wonder how many of these cancelled tours will just be scrapped altogether and how how many will try and proceed next year.

I just saw that concerts in Indiana are starting again June 14th. I got an ad on Facebook for a show happening June 19th.

So does anyone have tickets to shows coming up soon that haven’t been postponed/cancelled yet? I have one coming up in like 2 weeks and am a little surprised there hasn’t been an announcement yet.

Unfortunately, here is what I think will happen - not just for tours, but most things.

The below is not my personal belief of what should happen and I think this is the wrong approach but here goes:

People are going to get Corona-fatigue. They're going to stop caring. They're just going to resume their life as normal and accept the risk Corona carries. I think we've seen this attitude for a while now from the far right, but I'm personally starting to see it from all sides of the line now.

States across the country are opening up almost all of their economy - yet they haven't met the indicators or criteria that were set to safely re-open. They just...re-opening, because hey, why not?!?

As someone who works for a school district, we went from 'there's no way we could possibly return to school in the fall' to the governor saying yesterday they're going to do everything in their power to re-open schools for the fall (while announcing the re-opening of daycares, summer camps, youth leagues, gyms, pools, etc). Yesterday, Ohio University, one of the biggest colleges in Ohio, announced they fully plan to open their campus for the fall.

With the summer months coming, people are going to get outside, gather, congregate and just go on living with their lives.

Not sure what that means for tours...if the above happens and the general public's attitude toward Coronavirus becomes nonchalant over the coming months, you may start to see tours resume in the fall/winter.

Again, this is not how I personally feel about things. I think we are getting way too lenient with opening up and it's offsetting all the good we have done for the past two months with completely shutting everything down. Now America is half-assing it and it's probably going to come back and haunt us.

Megadeth/Lamb of God and Deftones/Gojira both in July. Fully expecting them to get canceled or postponed. Obviously hoping for the latter.

Oso Oso/Prince Daddy & The Hyena on June 10th. Unless I missed something it hasn’t been rescheduled again yet or canceled.

    Also, The Format in July.

Danny Elfman - Music From the Films of Tim Burton is supposed to be June 20th at NJPAC. It says postponed on his site but not on Ticketmaster or NJPAC

Definitely, especially on a smaller scale. I wouldn’t be surprised to see club show start popping up over the summer months. I don’t expect any extensive touring for a while, but by the fall I’m sure at least the butt rock bands will say fuck it.
