my skill level with rhythm games vary. there was a year where i was great at it, but it looks like i suck again now.

 

The only rhythm game I want on Switch is a new Rockband or guitar hero

 

Taiko is pretty good for getting back in a rhythm.

Oh no. I meant the Taiko game. You would have to buy the drum separate and that only works with that game.

Taiko drum n fun on Switch has a pretty good catalogue of songs, it even has good DLC for Undertale and Dragonball and such.

 

ahh gotcha. i am familiar with the game, for some reason i thought the drums were also compatible for other rhythm games haha.

for real. the latest issue of EDGE they just listed a 100 or so games that make you feel good, and the japanese version was there.

The problem I have with almost all rhythm games is the inconsistency between what the notes are tracking. Sometimes it's the drums, sometimes it's the vocals, etc. I just want to know! Haha

Even the bad ones I had fun with. The new rhythm Fuser doesn’t look too promising, though.

 

there is/was just..... TOO many in both series. i remember they tried to revive Guitar Hero a while back and even that flopped. i don't think people really have a demand for it anymore, that fad may have passed.

 

I like Rhythm Heaven and games like Elite Beat Agents but I suck at them too

 

i remember Harmoknight being a brutally precise rhythm game and getting way frustrated with it

 

I've got it queued up on my RG350, can't wait to get to it
