Has anyone ever had the experience of a vinyl record having the label printed wrong but the actual album is correct...??? I ordered a big deluxe super special edition of a Jim James solo album which was supposed to contain two full albums - Uniform Distortion & Uniform Clarity - plus a bonus 7", and there were supposed to be 6 bonus tracks somewhere in the whole thing: 2 full band versions of songs only found on Uniform Clarity and 4 cover songs. Well the package was finally delivered today and I bust it open and the vinyl copy of Uniform Distortion apparently has two Side A's and no Side B! Both sides of the record just say 'Side A' and have the same 6 Songs listed. I do not have any way to play vinyl and the whole reason I bought this expensive bundle was to get the two full-band bonus tracks and I was going to pay a service to digitize the album so I can listen to it. I paid all of this money and it seems like I didn't get the only 2 songs out of the whole thing I was trying to get...

 

Hello, what you can do is look at the grooves on each side of the vinyl, if they do not match the problem is only the label (normally it's just the label)

I am about 90% sure that the album is correct and is just labelled incorrectly. I'm gonna roll the dice instead of returning it and still bring it in to the digitizing service and pay to have it ripped to CD / MP3 so I can listen to it. Wish me luck!!!

 

Does anyone have the Biffy Clyro record "Infinity Land"? I've been looking for it and can't find it anywhere in good quality (320kbps or Flac). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, so I dug around in all of the packaging and ended up finding a download card tucked way down inside one of the sleeves, and it has digital versions of every single song across both of the LPs - including the bonus tracks I was looking for - and the 7". And I'm almost positive the album that looks like it has two Side A's is actually correct and is only mislabeled, which I actually think is kinda cool. Long story short, I got the songs I was looking for and probably saved an additional $70 or so. Thanks for the help.

Anybody here a fan of The Getaway People? Norwegian band from the late-90s to early 2000s? Just found out they have two songs I've never heard before: "Do It," which only appeared on a CD single for the song "Six Pacs" off their sophomore album "The Turnpike Diaries," and a cover of "Don't Fence Me In," which is exclusive to an advance German copy of said album. I can probably get the first one off Discogs without too much trouble but the second one is selling for over $200. Being out of work with the pandemic and all, that's definitely not in the cards right now. The completist in me wants to know what I'm missing out on, so thought I'd try my luck here first. Many thanks if you can help!

By any chance, would someone know where I could find Alice in Chains - Live Facelift Record Store Day release in FLAC? I thought I had a copy of this but it is all static. I hadn't even noticed.
