I want the NBA to resume. Play with minimal staff, no inactive players allowed there, no fans. No announcer, no photographers. Just give me two broadcast cameras that don't change. I also want testing before players leave isolation. Team can't come together, nothing. You test positive? You're out for the year. Testing before each practice, and game., etc.

i just can't think of a more wasteful use of literally thousands of COVID tests than just giving them to the NBA so we can have a few weeks of sports.

I can’t imagine how stupid it’d be for the NBA to continue their season after a potential 3-4 month layoff. That’s literally an entire offseason worth of time gone past where players are nowhere near in the shape they’d need to be to all of a sudden pick up for a playoff race/playoffs.

Also the idea of hundreds of players getting tested every single day when 90% of the country still cannot get tested is absurd.

Lastly, remember when Gobert tested positive a few minutes before the game? He said he felt in good enough condition to play that night. Which is great for him, but what happens when a superstar or even an all-star/important player tests positive, feels fine and the player/team tries to hide it so they don’t lose a competitive edge in the playoffs and then infects everyone else?

Do you really think if LeBron or Giannis test positive in the playoffs - but they feel fine- they’re gonna take two weeks off, essentially ending their season?

Its just completely pointless to even think about bringing back this season.

not sure why anyone would be pressed by an ESPN ranking

 

Which he is since only 13 players (not including him) have won multiple MVP awards

it sucks that the only thing that stopped the Bucks from winning the title was a fucking global pandemic

I'm fully, FULLY here for the Giannis is a top 30 player of all time because I posted when he was drafted that he was going to be an All-NBA player as a wild hot take and now it makes me look way smarter than I am.
