I will say that 50 bucks for Hawthorne Heights class thing seems pretty steep when all you get is a t shirt, paper diploma and live stream of them talking about the album and playing a few songs.

 

I agree with you completely, but from a business perspective, they're the masters of doing whatever they can to make a living playing music while engaging with their extremely dedicated fans. It's really cool to see

There's a zero percent chance this is followed or enforced. Regardless of your feelings on the act itself, there is certain acts that tend to bring out rowdier crowds. Like you can't tell me people will just stand there in place for an act like Cannibal Corpse for example.

UK live music and festival sector at risk of collapse due to coronavirus

 

I mean I would imagine not just the UK, but insert any country in that headline. Other than some sort of bailout the live event industry in general is in a ton of trouble. Concerts, wrestling (other than Wwe), all sports leagues other than the major four, plays, musicals, bars, clubs, everything is just in a lot of trouble.

 

So gutted about that Slipknot tour.
