Bundesliga is back: Date to be set for return

 

Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga will restart on the 15th May.

 

Kyle Walker is being a massive twat yet again. Come out and said he feels like he's being harassed as he's broken lockdown another two times to visit family (on top of the orgy he hosted a few weeks ago). While the rest of us are sitting here having not seen family or friends or girlfriends for nearly 2 months.

Colossal bellend. Hope he never plays for England again, that's for sure.

 

He’s the type of guy that’d go to his manager and say he wants out in the middle of a title chase.

 

Clearly just so detached from the outside world that he thinks he's being hard done by. Or thinks that because he's rich and in a position of influence he should be able to get away with it.

Obviously sending direct dogs abuse to him and his family probably isn't the way to deal with it, but claiming mental health to try and get away with it is a total cop out. It's difficult for all our mental health. No one likes being locked up. We do it because we have to.

 

Has anybody else in this thread been watching the Goldfinger quarantine vids? Damn they are good and have been making me feel like a teenager again.

 

Literally just watched the one for 'Superman' haha, was decent. I only really know the songs from THPS games though

 

Watched some K1 league highlights on YouTube and there were some great goals, especially a few of the Ulsan and Gangwon goals.

 

PL could be returning June 1st. The hopes of Liverpool not winnig the league almost gone.

 

Bitter United fan maybe, but I really hope they don't fuck up next season by going late with this season. Just end the season, give Liverpool the title and let's move on.

 

Obviously should be pointed out that this is according to the Government guidance that states that June 1st is the absolute earliest sport could return in any capacity.

Liable to change as the situation evolves and as they evaluate progress that is being made. Plus, it's clear a lot of policy is being made up on the fly, so who knows what might happen or when it could come back.

 

Let's be honest. People are going to take the piss and cause another wave and this will all be extended. I'd be surprised if the league resumes at all before August.

Can you blame people when the Government leaks to the newspapers during the week that Monday will be a liberation day and the end of lockdown? Or that people holding street parties are featured on the news?

People are idiots in general of course (there's a reason the North East has the highest proportion of infections - the amount of fucking morons that live here) but the mixed messaging has been as much of a problem.

Really happy Vettel is looking like retiring. Can't stand Ferrari and never liked Vettel since his Red Bull days and how they treated Riccardo, and then last season with LeClerc.

So these moves the last couple of days have been great haha.

 

Currently watching the first season now and I love it. I’m so excited for Danny to go to Mclaren

 

I like Vettel. Love Ricciardo though, but I'll still be sad to see Lando/Sainz broken up, love that pair. I hated McLaren as a kid, but those two are so damn likable that I think I'm a McLaren fan now.

I can see Stroll going all out to get Vettel at Aston Martin though.

It’s fantastic. Almost lightning in a bottle stuff given the storylines that were handed to them and the fact no one in the sport had any idea of how it would turn out. Second season is also really good but it does seem like the teams wised up going into it. Except Haas.

 

Kind of hoping that Toto wants to just mess shit up and sign Vettel in place of Bottas (contract ends this year). Not because I think he deserves it or because I don't like Bottas, but just because I'd like to see the drama of Lewis finally showing without any doubt that he's the better driver or the drama of Vettel not letting him.
