This show in Arkansas is stupid and irresponsible. Honestly if this show happens and even one person gets sick or dies it dooms the whole industry even more than it was before. I can’t honestly believe that this is gonna be allowed to happen.

Marc Rebillet announces the first-ever US drive-in concert tour

 

Owen announced a couple of dates for july, august, september and november (some of them are rescheduled) on what I assume are small venues.

I'm tempted to buy a ticket for the november show in Chicago but I don't know if it will be too soon even is the venue is small

 

Really weird look for any festival to be dropping a lineup or announcing new artists for this year. I know every state is different but we are still very much in the thick of this pandemic.

 

I grew up in Southwest VA, & I'll leave it at "I'm not surprised" that Lynchburg Concerts is tone deaf to announcing a festival lineup in the midst of a pandemic

I live near there and know the situation, Lynchburg concerts is not ran well and this will 99% not happen

I'd bet money now that this doesn't happen, or at the very least that most of these bands don't wind up playing.

 

I called Ticketmaster customer support regarding the Halsey tour today, and the guy let me only refund a request for 1 ticket, and keep the remaining ones, in case anyone was wondering if that was a possibility.

 

I really hope that Slipknot tour gets pushed back to 2021 and not just flat out cancelled.

 

Also Blink 182 is now playing Common Ground in Lansing, MI on July 9, 2021. Same weekend, same venue.

 

I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

 

I can't think of anything less fun than a drive through concert. I'd rather watch a live stream on my couch.

 

Man I get that Live Nation doesn't want to lose a huge profit from this, but it seems like a much more logical idea to just wait for this to pass/a vaccine to be readily available and then do something like a buy one ticket to an event get one half off or a buy 2 tickets to events get one for another for free. Label it some bullshit like "loyalty promotion". There's a ton of better ideas and the ideas they're presenting just isn't it chief.
