CinemaWins might be the only good thing to come as a result of CinemaSins.

feel like CS has faded in popularity, at least on here. Honest Trailers, on the other hand...

Currently in process of rewatching the new ones after finishing the original trilogy yesterday and The Force Awakens is definitely the closest they got to recapturing the magic for me. Does anyone else think they dropped the ball not having Luke, Han and Leia not reunite at some point? It just feels to me that Han should have died in The Last Jedi. He was definitely missed in the two episodes that followed.

I might be in the minority here, but I think it was the right choice to split them up in the movies. Sure, it would have been fun to see the original crew all together again, but separating them allowed more time for the new characters. The new core three should have all met during TFA though.

I think it was dumb to have the OG trio have their send-offs. Have them play a part for sure but I still want more of the new trio.

    - Though not important to the overall SW cinematic universe, this show is still worth a watch. Really enjoy seeing a lot of the same aliens and bounty hunter types again. I wish it was a little funnier in spirit to the original Star Wars films, a bit serious for SW but I guess that’s the tone. Best stuff involved Watiti so it’s not a bad choice to have him helm the next movie (6/10)

Going through the effort of bringing those 3 characters back, & then not letting them have just one scene together, will forever be a bizarre & bizarrely bad choice, especially for someone as fixated on nostalgia as JJ. At least his bad choice set the stage for Rian's compelling take on Luke in TLJ, but yeah, dumb.

That being said, Han definitely was not missed in those other two films. The problem was JJ, as the incompetent storyteller that he is, deciding to make Luke a mystery box that'd extend literally from the crawl until that final tediously "epic" scene. If we forget that TLJ exists & just imagine how to make a good Episode VII, if finding Luke is the mission at the start, the third act should have Luke in it.

As much as a few Han scenes in TFA are some of his best as a character, so much of that film after the dope first half hour has just soured so much on me, lol, especially after seeing & sitting on TRoS.

Of course Americans who (poorly) attempted a coup in Venezuela hated a movie that's partially about how the "good guys" in a war are still bad.

It is absolutely infuriating that JJ just dropped that incredibly interesting plotline entirely.

JJ was really the embodiment of Sideshow Bob stepping on rakes with every step.

I'd argue the prequel trilogy kinda is a Star Wars Tommy Wiseau trilogy: movies made by a filmmaker who thinks he's making better films than he is or is capable of, which include some very memorable & meme-able moments.

I feel like the prequels are just flat and lifeless honestly, and this movie is the closest to what makes the room so good – it is just absolutely baffling at every single moment
