I don’t dislike The Take Over but I’ve heard it enough to skip it every time over the last few years... but Tiffany Blews?! That’s like one of my favorite FOB songs ever haha

All good - I appreciate you sharing dude. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I’m definitely in the minority on a bunch of opinions when it comes to this site lol

The (Shipped) Gold Standard and Tiffany Blews are probably in my top 5 FOB songs of all time. Goddamn, Folie is still incredible.

Goddamn this is just reminding me how amazing they were pre-hiatus

I still really like SR&R and Mania but their first four, especially 2-4, are just nonstop quality imo

I was so worried about Lil Wayne being in Tiffany Blews, but it works quite nicely

Crazy that whenever they drop the next record they will have as many albums pre-hiatus as they do post-hiatus

Almost skipped the last 3 pages of the thread. With all the bad takes I've read in them , I should have.

In retrospect now, was Folie as big of departure as it was when it came out? When you listen to it does it flow next to Infinity?

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

I always thought Folie is a better version of IOH.

Yeah me too, doesn't sound that much different.

Yeah, I never understood the description of it as a departure. The change from TTTYG to FUTCT seemed more abrupt than the change from IOH to FAD.

FAD always seemed "slower" in how the songs were composed, and doesn't have as much of a frenetic energy that IOH has. Like if you sped up the songs by 1.1-1.25x the original speed they seem like IOH songs

Cooperstown is a good song but it's overrated as hell. Not even in the top five on that album.
