I do hope everybody in here posts which tracks are theirs, since this one’s obviously labeled a bit differently than the regular comps. A couple of names I recognize but definitely not the majority of them. I wanna know who did what! My tracks are 15 & 18.

 

yeah, i reached out to like 70-80 "bigger" bands for this, but only got submissions from a couple. there were like 5 more that said they wanted to be on it, but they never sent me their song, which was to be expected... and i got just a couple "no thanks" emails, which i guess is a win? but mostly, no response from like 50 of the bands i reached out to, haha, which is fiiiiiiiine! i'm not salty! ha jk

Great idea! I'm track 17 and I just did a lil live performance as well!

 

I’m not complaining either way man, I can’t imagine how difficult this was to organize and am just happy to see so many contributors! This was a really cool idea for comp 50.

 

unfortunately, i probably won't bump anyone else up because i'm going to bed and by tomorrow morning i'm expecting the link will start circulating around other bands social media profiles and whatnot, so if they tell their fans what track number they are, i don't want to throw things off... SO I'M SOOO SORRY IN ADVANCE if you aren't all bunched together like i intended.

I've only listened to a few songs cuz I need to get to bed, but dude I listened to your song Waste and that was a vibe! I really enjoyed it.
First thing in the morning I'm gonna purchase this and listen to everything! I gotta do a Trader Joe's run, so this can be my soundtrack while I wait on line for 2 hours haha.

 

haha, my first instinct upon the COVID panic was to hole up and make some tunes I could relax to. glad that one sent ya somewhere else too! good to know which one is yours, always like your contributions to these, I definitely be hearing it tomorrow!

 

I'm on tracks 8 (my band) and 12 (an older solo song of mine that i felt was kind of appropriate given the topic.)

Oh! and track 19 (the Centerset track) is my real life baby (22 year old) brother!!!! So stoked to have him on the comp!

 

totally forgot you had this setup, lol that booth is so sick. I may have to pick up a color changing light at some point soon

 

My band (Treedust) is sitting at 58 haha.

Apparently MusiCares is no longer accepting new applications from musicians because their funds have run out. This makes me feel even more proud of this compilation! The fact that we are going to be donating half of the proceeds to them will be great.
