I've got a family tradition for the opening ceremony. We all watch it and order/make food from the host country.

So many hot flag bearers. It's outrageous. And that Tongan fella all oiled up would've got some ladies pregnant via tv screens

 

each and every one of our athletes are heroes regardless of how well they do in the competition. sports have always been the least of our government's worries. just gonna enjoy these people making us proud in a time where we're constantly ashamed of ourselves.

That was a good opening ceremony. Beijing was still the best though.

I can kinda understand saving the marquee events for primetime during the week. But gymnastics qualification in the afternoon on a Saturday/Sunday saving for Saturday/Sunday night? Don't really get it.

 

BBC's coverage is great again.

 

NBC's online coverage is great, once you actually figure out their website.

 

I could watch water polo 24/7. I don't know why it's so fascinating to me.

 

First gold goes to the US!

I wanna play water polo and handball. Both of these have been so fun.

 

Just watched USA take its first gold in shooting. Never thought that'd be a sport I'd find entertaining, but it was awesome. I love the olympics.
