She did the right thing 3 years ago and hasn't gone a day in her life since then without being ridiculed for it. So you are right it is no surprise she doesn't want to do the right thing here. If that sounds like playing politics, it's because it is. That's what politicians do.

Like I said before, no one wants to be first this time around because they know there will be massive backlash.

It actually fucking sucks that so many people refuse to think that people they like and has done good things can do really bad things and deserve to face consequences. It was hopeful the #MeToo movement would change that.

She still didn’t have to be so adamant. I think she could have dodged it or just said the campaign responded. The standard she proposed is basically believe women unless there’s a “vehement” denial (which Biden hasn’t even yet to personally deny it let alone “vehemently”). Imagine being the victim and seeing that quote.
Honestly her whole quote makes me want to puke. Devoted his whole life to supporting women? It’s like Anita Hill never happened. Just shameful.

 

Yeah and a few were vocal again when dems took back the house. I remember Pelosi condemning trump and then saying his party should really be the ones to hold him accountable. Hmmmm
