What’s happened to TUG? Shouldn’t he be telling us all this is the best album of all time right about now haha.

 

@TUG deleted that account and then became @gutterball, but that account was deleted on Tuesday and I'd put money on @inlayjay being the new account, as it was created Wednesday.

 

So confused rn lol

 

I hope we can all agree that, when it comes down to it, at the end of the day - we're all @TUG

TUG immediately after the the release of The Canyon was a historic moment for this site.

What a truly historic album for all of humanity also, The Canyon. Never shall we be graced again with an album such as thee. (/sarcasm)

 

Fantastic album.. they do well to set up future releases with completely new elements. Love Paradise Lost, Obvious Blasé, Bloody Nose, And get serious Billie Eilish vibes with the cathedral bell beginning in the whispered words and swirly tones. It’s weird and it works.

 

To anyone saying this album has a weird flow, listen to it in alphabetical order.

That’s how I feel about Darkness Bleeds. The FOTF part not so much, but that’s definitely not a knock.

 

the choral ending of that song gives me "Pain" vibes which is a super good thing

 

I cannot get in to this yet. Obvious Blase is a banger though and the production on this thing is great which i'll give them flying pass marks for.

 

Cuts sounds less juvenile than broken heart.

I feel like people here have been pretty positive about it. Where are you seeing so much hate?

 

I absolutely hated lighthouse on first listen,
But I think it may have been a bit unexpected/jarring personally. I’ve really come around to it, though i wouldn’t consider it one of my favorites from the album. It’s kinda of in the middle for me, not bottom tier (but better than anything off their last album and 90% of Imaginary Enemy)
